Army Chief leaves for Qatar on official visit

Chief of Army Staff General Waker-Uz-Zaman left Dhaka on Saturday for an official visit to Qatar, reports BSS.

During the visit, the Army Chief will pay courtesy calls on senior military and civilian officials of Qatar and exchange views on bilateral military cooperation, according to an ISPR media release issued Saturday morning.

He is scheduled to return to Bangladesh on May 5.
