Supporters gather as Khaleda set to land in Dhaka

BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia is expected to arrive in Dhaka at around 10:30am on Tuesday from London. As part of a planned welcome, party leaders and activists have started gathering at the airport since early morning, chanting slogans and preparing to greet her along the way.

In anticipation of the crowd, law enforcement agencies have enforced strict security measures around Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport.

Members of the Airport Armed Police were seen maintaining a strong presence at the main roundabout near the entry gates, checking all entrants thoroughly and verifying their reasons for access.

Alongside the Armed Police, personnel from Civil Aviation security, AVSEC, the Air Force, Army, and Dhaka Metropolitan Police have also been deployed to maintain order.
