India says no Pakistani military facilities targeted in strikes

Referring to Operation Sindoor, India has said no Pakistani military facilities have been targeted, UNB reports.
"India has demonstrated considerable restraint in selection of targets and method of execution," said the Indian Defence Ministry in a media release, adding that their actions have been focused, measured and non-escalatory in nature.
It added that the Indian Armed Forces launched Operation Sindoor, hitting terrorist infrastructure in Pakistan and Pakistan-adminisfered Jammu and Kashmir from where terrorist attacks against India have been planned and directed.
Altogether, nine sites have been targeted, the Press Information Bureau of India said, quoting the Indian Defence Ministry.
These steps come in the wake of the Pahalgam attack in which 25 Indians and one Nepali citizen were murdered, it said.
"We are living up to the commitment that those responsible for this attack will be held accountable," said the Indian government.
There will be a detailed briefing on Operation Sindoor on Wednesday.
